  Workshop #1: Developing Bioinformatic Tools in Python

  The goal of this workshop is to demonstrate how a basic machine learning algorithm in python can be used to simulate an outbreak of COVID-19 in a population. We will start by introducing bioinformatics and then quickly narrow our focus towards epidemiology and the modeling of COVID-19.
